About Us
Welcome to Parker Pastures!
We are passionate about raising delicious, healthy, organic, and grass-fed & finished beef and lamb in a way that regenerates the health of the earth where our animals graze.
Our ground beef and steaks are dry-aged for 14-21 days for tenderness and flavor you won't find many places other than the most premier steakhouses.
Our cattle and sheep spend their days on our green, mountain valley pastures in Gunnison, Colorado.
Our meat is never treated with antibiotics or hormones.
We are always organically minded and GMO free.
Our beef and lamb is raised and life-time grazed on Certified Organic pasture grass for superior flavor. No grains or feedlots EVER! Simply gourmet meats from mountain grasses!
Our animals are expertly processed at a family owned USDA facility and each cut has complete traceability to our animals.
We strive to bring the finest Colorado grass-finished meat to your table and the . real story behind it - we hope you enjoy it!

Parker Pastures is proud to partner with the National Audubon Society!
Across the United States, birds that rely on grasslands, prairies, and meadows have been disappearing at an alarming rate, but on Audubon-certified ranches, species are not only surviving—they are thriving.
Parker Pastures officially became an Audubon-Certified Ranch in 2022 (although we've always been in practice!).
Here at Parker Pastures, we stand behind our products...

A Walk Through Parker Pastures - The Van Tuyl Public Trail
4 Favorite Hikes for Families Near Crested Butte
The closest trail to civilization in the Gunnison Valley, the Van Tuyl Loop, leaves out of the Northwest corner of Gunnison. Head West on Spencer Avenue, the stoplight by Walmart. From there, take a right onto Quartz Hill Rd and left on Palisade Ave. Palisade Ave ends at Charmar Park, the main parking area for the Van Tuyl Loop. The trail is a well-manicured gravel path that loops through the grazing area for Parker Pastures. There are multiple areas with great access to the Gunnison River for fishing or just skipping stones across the water. Rolling pastures and cottonwood trees are backdropped with the Palisade rock formation. The manicured path allows for strollers, wagons, or any other craft your family wants to bring along.
